Room 9's Waka

Room 9 created their own Waka. We all have to work together and help each other! We talked about how we all have different roles and responsibilities in our classroom and when everyone contributes, our classroom moves like a strong waka.

  1. Hi Room 9
What a lovely art piece. When Miss Spies showed this to me, I got a big smile on my face. I really liked the moral that you learned from this. I agree, going against the stream is hard work and tiring. Working together as a team, regardless of our different personalities, makes learning fun! Has this lesson helped you to look at your classroom contributions a bit differently? Kind Regards Mrs M

    1. Kia ora Ayla's Mum,
It is so nice that you are leaving comments on Ayla and her classmates blog. I am so excited to see it and I am sure they will be too. I help lots of teachers out with blogging as part of my role with Manaiakalani Outreach and I know teachers are always wanting parents to engage with their blog. Thanks so much!
