This week we held the annual Rangatahi festival. We were extremely fortunate to have Ayla's mum come in and teach us about Pakistan. We were all fascinated hearing about where Alyas family come from. We created a padlet of facts to share our learning with others.
Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteI am quite amazed by the quality of your recall. I love all your comments and images that you searched on your own about Pakistan. I am also very impressed by some very keen current affair observations by some of your peers :)
Great job every one!

Kia ora Room 9, I like the facts you have shared about Pakistan. I never knew there was snow, I think of it as a hot country. I have never been to Pakistan. How many people in your class have been to Pakistan?

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your learning about Pakistan. How lucky that Ayla's Mum was able to come in and talk to you her about her home country. I have been to the India/Pakistan border ceremony when they close the gates between the two countries each night. It was an incredible experience! Check it out on YouTube. Like Maria, I didn't realise there was snow in Pakistan. Do Ayla and her whānau enjoy living in New Zealand?
Tania
We certainly do. Kiwis are one of the friendliest people and the land is beautiful esp. the south.
